I particually like way the backgound is so plain on this cover. It allows the image to stand out and makes the colours of the 'Q' logo and the other headings bolder and makes them much more visible to the audience. I've again noticed this magazine follows the codes of conventions when it comes to layout as they have a logo, a strip across the bottom and many other little headings around the perimiter of the page. This means audience members won't be scared of the magazine as it's simialr to others. I also feel this magazine cover isnt too jam packed like the NME one but has alot more on it than the INDIE magazine cover. I therefore want to make my final cover more like this one. Otherwise i feel if it's too full it looks too clutered and i think i would loose interest if i found there was too much to read. However i don't want to have as little as the INDIE magazine on the front cover as it doesnt really follow the normal codes of conventions and doesnt let you know enough about whats involved within the magazine.
